Pioneering Resilient, Real-Time Automotive Architectures
I am an Embedded Software Engineer and AI builder with a Bachelor's in Informatics in English from West University of Timisoara. Backed by 5+ years of software design experience, I have worked across key engineering divisions at Continental AG since October 2021, currently designing advanced audio telematics, child presence detection sensors, secure car localization, and autonomous vehicle entry.
In addition to real-time embedded logic, I have deep passion for machine learning and cybersecurity configurations. A premier highlight is my development of TIA2.1-14B—a 14B-parameter cybersecurity-focused Large Language Model specialized in binary reverse engineering and exploit evaluation, which I released to open source.

Career & Educational Milestones
Software Engineer
Continental AG (AUMOVIO)
- Served as system architect for the Child Presence Detection (CPD) series production system and keyless entry "Kick Sensing" trunk-opening algorithms.
- Trained, fine-tuned, and deployed lightweight in-car Machine Learning models to analyze subtle breathing signals and motion patterns.
- Led systems redesign for Audio Telematics and localization modules, tracking key fobs to trigger autonomous vehicle actions.
- Developed and integrated standalone diagnostics with AUTOSAR RTE, while maintaining strict SELinux security module access policies.
B.Sc. in Informatics (English)
West University of Timisoara
Completed full computer science syllabus in English, focusing major works on Machine Learning applications and systems programming. Fully evaluated and certified by the German ZAB as equivalent to a German degree.
Associate Software Engineer
Continental AG
- Optimized low-level hardware code to meet precise audio timing constraints of the TAS5421 operational amplifiers.
- Developed high-accuracy localization algorithms to determine phone and key fob positions, enabling secure, autonomous entry control (unlock/lock) mechanisms.
- Configured persistent settings structures with Non-Volatile Memory (NVM) ensuring reliable storage schemas.
Software Developer Internship
Continental AG
- Refactored and ported key elements of audio modules for the Audio SxS project to comply with core product parameters.
- Analyzed stack traces and debugged mute anomalies and power settings in Head Units and Low Power (BuB) mode controllers.
